Halloween Events at UMCA

Friday October 30: We are pleased to announce that students will celebrate Halloween with a fantastic trip to Sky Zone - Indoor Trampoline Park.

Sky Zone is the world’s first indoor trampoline park. They are the inventors of “fun fitness” and the makers of trampolines as far as the eye can see. They give you one of the greatest workouts ever combined with awesome, healthy fun. They’ve been voted  the “best party ever.” Experience WOW – the weightlessness of bouncing, flipping and landing in a pit filled with 10,000 foam cubes.

Saturday, October 31: Halloween Costume Party

•    On Saturday, October 31, there will be a Halloween party for all elementary grades (Grades 1-8) at UMCA from 2-4pm. Children are strongly encouraged to come in their creative costumes and participate in many different interesting activities such as games, contests, decorating cupcakes, and more. There will also be a DJ for the dance party! Parents will be encouraged to come to the adult Halloween party on the second floor in their unique costumes as well. Parents will have different appetizers, beverages, costume contest and a disco. Tickets will cost $3 for grades 1-5; and $4 for grades 6-8. You are encouraged to bring all your friends and family along with you to share this unique experience with our family. *Please be aware that students are required to attend this party. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact the office.

Sunday, November 1: Halloween Party on Ice

•    On Sunday, November 1, there will be a Halloween party at the Pavilion Ice Arena. All students, parents, and friends are invited. Doors open at 6:00 pm however you need to arrive earlier in order to put on your equipment. Students and parents will be encouraged to come wearing their unique Halloween costumes. UMCA will provide different Halloween snacks to enjoy; there will be a DJ! . Tickets will cost $10 per person.
Buy your tickets at the front desk, get your costume and get in the spirit of Halloween on ice...and most importantly, HAVE FUN!

Monday, November 2: Halloween Lunch                                                     

•    On Monday, November 2, Mrs. Julia will be hosting a special Halloween lunch for the students as part of etiquette class. She will decorate the lunchroom in Halloween and Autumn coloured themed items. Students will have a lovely lunch together and will be able to practice all their skills that they have been learning in manners and etiquette class.
Students are asked to bring the following food to share:
         Grade 1-Pumpkin dessert                Grade 2- Orange juice
         Grade 3- Orange ice cream              Grade 4- Carrot dessert and crepes
         Grade 5- Apple or carrot juice          Grade 6- Fruit plate
         Grade 7 and 8- Vegetable dish and different salads to share.
